Terra Seright and I made 5 new hams today at my 6th 6-hour Ham Cram study session. 6 people took the class, 5 took the Technician Exam and all five passed. One student has been a Technician for 15 years and wanted a refresher class before she studies for her General Class exam. I am really enjoying these classes. I want to thank Terra Seright, KE5ZRU, for being the Volunteer Examination Liasion along with VEs Monty Monty Mark Denney, KC5OMK; and Carl Jeans, N5YXN. Thanks to Henry Janhsen for opening up the building and waiting for me when I was late to class. Thanks to RC, K5ORC, for sitting in on the class for support and for mentoring some of the new folks. I look forward to the next scheduled Ham Cram in September and a possible Ham Cram in Fritch for five potential hams sometime sooner.
